About Omnom Chocolate

Created by two friends in Reykjavík, Iceland, in 2013, Omnom is led by passionate chef Kjartan Gíslason and entrepreneur Óskar Þórðarson. Omnom buys ingredients by direct trade to further help assess the social, environmental, and economic impact of its purchases.

Lakris + Sea Salt: A classic Icelandic pairing of chocolate and liquorice come together in this updated interpretation. Salted liquorice and chocolate unite to surprise palates with salty creaminess. Raw Persian licorice is used to flavor caramelized white chocolate and salted with sea salt from the West Fjords of Iceland, by Saltverk. A uniquely Icelandic flavor experience.

Caramel: Created in support of Icelandic LGBTQ+ culture, this unicorn clad milk chocolate is a festive treat liberally studded with crunchy caramel chips. Not as sweet as one would expect, but a magical sweet treat for all tasters.

Lakris + Raspberry: Caramelized liquorice chocolate sets the stage for tart raspberries and sea salt in this bright fuchsia bar, topped with additional dried raspberries.

Sea Salted Toffee: A golden hued toffee chocolate whose key components are barley malt, Icelandic milk and sea salt. Nostalgically reminiscent of sweet and salty toffee biscuits.

Black N' Burnt Barley: White chocolate in disguise and black as night. Lava salt sets the stage for burnt, popped barley in nearly savory white chocolate for adventurous tasters. This chocolate is unlike any other. The lava salt from Saltverk is treated with activated charcoal, giving this bar its dramatic color. The savory notes in this chocolate are a result of the bar's inspiration--well roasted malted barley, usually used in brewing porters and stouts. The stark black chocolate is then topped with popped Icelandic barley, coated in chocolate.
